Human beings are warm-blooded animals. Sweating is a normal body process to control body temperature. Sweating is regulated by the sympathetic nervous system.
In a very small percentage of people sweating occurs in excess of amount needed to maintain the body temperature. This condition is known as hyperhidrosis.
Hyperhidrosis is usually a permanent problem, affecting person for years, and maybe since early childhood. It might get a little better with age. It may not be affected too much by surrounding temperature also.
